Enrollment for the upcoming school year opens January 1. Enrollment deadline and non-refundable deposit for grades Kindergarten through 5th grade is June 1. This enrollment deadline allows our staff to plan for purchasing curriculum, workbooks and hiring more staff should there be a need.

Students required to be 3 by January 1st prior to starting in September, as well as fully potty trained to enroll in half day Preschool.
Students required to be 4 by September 10 to enroll in Pre-Kindergarten
Students required to be 5 by September 10 to enroll in Kindergarten

PRESCHOOL/PRE-K READINESS
Every child develops at their own pace. These skills are requirements for enrollment in the Preschool/Pre-K program.
Social and Emotional Skills - CHILD IS BEGINNIGN TO:
Separate from caregiver (may be upset briefly, but can be comforted *within 5 minutes)
Play alongside other children (parallel play)
Shows readiness to take turns and share with help
Follow simple routines (sit for short circle time, line up with help)
Respond when their name is called
Accept comfort and redirection from another adult
Is compliant with instruction from adults (does not demonstrate repetitive defiance)
Communication Skills - CHILD CAN:
Tell an adult basic needs (help, bathroom, hungry, thirsty, tired)
Follow simple directions
“Get your coat”
“Come sit on the carpet”
Name common objects
Be understood by familiar adults, most of the time
Self-help Skills - CHILD CAN:
Wash hands
Feed themselves
Drink from a cup (open or straw)
Pull pants up and down for bathroom use
Show awareness of bathroom needs
Put on coat, shoes or boots
Learning and Play - CHILD CAN:
Focus on activity for 10 minutes
Enjoy being read to, even briefly
Play with toys appropriately (stacking, pushing cars, pretend play, etc.)
Physical Skills - CHILD CAN:
Walk and run steadily
Climb safely on playground equipment
Stack blocks
Turn pages in a book
Scribble with crayons or markers
Try simple puzzles
